Competition Team
This Ensemble does 1 competition per year. The team is in it’s 2nd season. They were awarded high gold, 1st place and the Judges Inspiration Award in 2016 at Groove Dance Competition.
The Ensemble gives the dancers the opportunity to further their performance skills, grow as young artist, and compete with dancers regionally and nationally. The dance team will have a variety of dance disciplines that will be taken to competition. They compete in jazz, lyrical, contemporary, musical theater, and acrobatics.
The Competition Team motivates the dancers to become the best they can be even when performing under pressure. They learn to work as a team, make bonding friendships and have fun at the competitions. It improves self confidence, memory, and work ethic. The dancers learn life lessons in a positive and healthy competitive environment.
Senior Competition Team**
3 hours of ballet are required to compete
Wednesday 6:45-8:45 Lyrical/Jazz
